How do I start a claim?

1. Inform your insurer as soon as possible through their app, website or helpline. Most policies set a time limit.
2. Take photos and do not repair the car before the insurer allows it.
3. A surveyor inspects the damage.
4. The workshop repairs the car. In a cashless claim the insurer pays the workshop directly; otherwise you pay and get reimbursed.
